Former Bristol City defender Danny Coles could be making a return to the West Country.
The Hull city defender is currently on loan at League One Hartlepool, but the deal runs out on Thursday. It is thought Rovers are set to make there move for the central defender this week.
Rovers are after a central defender because of an injury to Byron Anthony who will be out for up to 3 months.
Coles made 148 league appearances for Bristol City before a £200,000 move to Hull City in 2005.

Might be a decent signing. I think we need to be concentrating on getting a Striker first though.
I agree a striker has to be the priority here, although if he plays for us like Phillips has since leaving the Reds, i’ll be chuffed 🙂
