Former Bristol Rover striker Jamie Cureton has left Colchester.
Cureton moves to Championship side Norwich for a undisclosed fee. The former Rovers favorite was last seasons top scorer in the Championship and expressed a desire to move on at the end of the season. Cureton’s reason for wanting out was ‘the clubs lack of ambitions’.
Cureton left Rovers for £250,000 in August 2000 after 74 goals for the Gas.
