Striker Darryl Duffy scored both goals in Rovers 2-1 win over Aldershot.

Keeper Rhys Evans made his debut in goal for Rovers in place of Fraser Forster and Darryl Duffy was recalled to the starting line up along side Jo Kuffour up front after the sell of Rickie Lambert.

Rovers went 1-0 up after Chris Lines was brought down in the area, Darryl Duffy stepped up and put Rovers 1-0 up. Rovers were awarded a second penalty after Sean Rigg headed against the bar and as Jo Kuffour went to hit home the rebound he was pulled down.

Darryl Duffy stepped and although his penalty was saved he slotted home the rebound. Aldershot earned themselves a penalty after David Pipe handled in the area. Marvin Morgan converted it comfortably, but Rovers held on for the victory. Young Ben Swallow came on for the last 20 minutes and made a big impact.
