Defender Steve Elliott has signed for League Two side Cheltenham Town.
The 31 year old centre back has signed a two year contract with Cheltenham after being released by Rovers at the end of the season. Elliott moved to Bristol Rovers from Blackpool in the summer of 2004 and went on to make 255 appearances for Rovers and became popular amongst Gasheads and even had his own song on the terraces.
Elliott is set to make his first appearance for Cheltenham Town tomorrow when they play Gloucester City.
