Midfielder Matt Gill who is currently on loan at League Two side Exeter City will stay with the club on a permanent basis.
Gill was signed from Norwich City by former Manager Paul Buckle back in the summer off 2011, Rovers beat of competition from Exeter and Walsall for the then 30 year old midfielder. Gill went on to make 36 appearances in his first season, but has since struggled with injury and has only made 14 more appearances since the end of his first season.
Gill will make his move to Exeter City on a permanent basis in January after Rovers and Gill agreed to cancelled his contract by mutual consent.
