Gosling Joins Newport

Midfielder Jake Gosling have today joined League Two rivals Newport County on loan.

Gosling joins Newport on a one month loan deal and trained with the Welsh club this morning. Gosling has found first team opportunities hard to come by this season making 18 appearances this season, but most have come from the bench. Gosling has also made three International appearances for Gibraltar scoring once in the 8-1 defeat to Poland.

Gosling has not featured for Rovers since the 0-0 draw away at AFC Wimbledon on Boxing Day. Another player on the move is young goalkeeper Kieran Preston has joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Rushall Olympic FC. He has not made a first team appearances yet but has taken his place on the bench a number of times this season.
