Midfielder Chris Lines has today agreed an extension to his current contract with Bristol Rovers.

The 31 year old is in his second spell with the club and has been instrumental in Rovers rise out of the Conference back into League One. He has made 39 appearances so far this season and has scored three times.

Lines came up through the youth ranks and made his first team debut in January 2006 and went on to make over 180 appearances before leaving to join Sheffield Wednesday in the summer of 2011. He had two season at Sheffield Wednesday and also had spells at MK Dons and Port Vale before returning to Rovers at first on loan in March 2015 and helped the club back into the Football League.
