New Fans Director At Rovers

Brian Seymour Smith has been voted in as the new Fans Director for Bristol Rovers.

It was a landslide victory for Seymour Smith who many Bristol Rovers fans may know him from Sky Sports news where he reports from around the grounds on Soccer Saturday, a job he has been doing for 11 years. Seymour Smith had 246 votes, in second was Ron Cocks with 79 votes and in third was David Brain who was standing again to be Fans Director with just 56 votes.

Brian has supported Rovers since the age of eight, attended his first game in 1964 and currently runs his own PR company (Seymour-Smith Associates) who are looking after the public relations for Warwickshire Cricket Club, heavily involved with the £32m Edgbaston development. They also organised the promotion for the Royal visit, the Test matches that took place and T-20 finals as well. He will now assist Ken Masters who is already on the board.
