No Deal For Rigg

Midfielder George Rigg who has been on trial with Bristol Rovers trying to earn a contract will not be offered a deal to sign for Rovers.

Rigg was released by Premiership side Stoke City in the summer and played in Rovers last four pre-season friendlies but John Ward has decided against offering the 22 year old a deal. Rigg spent last season playing for Stoke City’s Under 21’s side and scored in his final game for them against Manchester City.

Rigg started his career at local rivals Bristol City in their Academy before opting for a move to Stoke city.
