Notts County`s View on Pipe

We have today been in talks with a Notts County fan NZMagpie to get their opinion on our potential new signing David Pipe, he had this to say

How has Pipe performed for you since you signed him?
Well your signing him for near 100k, so you can work that one out.
How would you rate him as a player?
He’s good. Not very, very good, but good. Wears his heart on his sleeve, lots of running.
He plays several positions, where would you say he played best?
I`m undecided, obviously somewhere on the right side, probably as Wing Back, or Right mid.
He apparently did a medical for us yesterday, do you think he will come to us?
Probably
Will you be sad to see him leave?
If it`s between 60-100k then no, I won’t. Lots of work and effort but in the end lacked the end product, such as crossing. If it`s below 60k, then yes I will be sad to see him go.
Who will replace him if he goes?
We already have adequate cover in Tann and Silk, no need to replace as both these can do the job. Won`t be quite as good as Pipey but not too far off
How much do you think he is worth?
As much as your willing to pay.

Pipe joined County in 2004 and has made 154 appearances for the club from this he has scored four times and based on this we at Vital Rovers think he would be a great addition to the gas squad, and following recent rumours that he attended a medical for Rovers yesterday, it is looking increasingly likely that he will be in the blue and white quarters next season.
