Peterborough Manager Darren Ferguson has today confirmed that they have offered Steve Elliott a contract.
Elliott’s Bristol Rovers contract runs out in the summer and Rovers are keen to tie the big Central Defender to a new deal to keep him at The Memorial Stadium.
Elliot has said he is keen to play at a higher level which he can do at Rovers, so i would find it a very strange decision if he decides to join a team in League Two.

He’d be a fool if he accepts. He’s at a club which is now in a higher division and the fans love him, so why’s he stalling?
Rumour has it that it’s more down to family matters rather than the higher level thing. However, after the promotion, if the deal is right I can see him staying here now.
