Former Bristol Rovers player David Pipe has joined Blue Square Bet Premier side Newport County.
Pipe who can play as a right back or on the right hand side of midfield has only just been released from prison after spending time in side for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He was given a three year jail sentence but only served less than half of his three year jail term.
The 27 year old is expected to make his debut for Newport County on Saturday. The former Coventry player has been signed on a non-contract basis.
