Rovers bounced back from the 3-0 away defeat to Bury on Tuesday night by beating Chesterfield 2-1 and keep up the long shot of making the play offs. Rovers got of to a fantastic start when Ollie Clarke fired home from the edge of the area after just one minute. Striker Rory Gaffney doubled Rovers lead after a through ball from Luke James. James could have made it 3-0 but the striker saw his penalty saved.

Chesterfield did pull a goal back but Rovers saw the game out. Rovers are 8th in League One just three points outside the play offs, but teams around them do have games in hand. To rate the players/manager and ref just take the survey below.
