Rovers Appeal Easter Red Card

Bristol Rovers have appealed Jermaine Easters red card in Rovers 2-1 win away Mansfield Town.

The striker was sent off in the first half after apparently reacting to the Mansfield’s players protest of his dive. He had earlier put Rovers in front scoring his five goal of the season.

Rovers will find out the result of the appeal on Tuesday afternoon and if unsuccessful Easter will have to serve a three match ban starting on Tuesday meaning the striker will miss the home clash against Notts County, home clash against Newport County and the away trip to Cambridge.
