The Bristol Rovers squad have been hit by a flu bug, several key players are a doubt for tonight`s home game against Doncaster Rovers due to this.

Richard Walker and David Pipe are still doubtful after missing Saturdays 1-0 win over Millwall, but Rovers have a new worry over midfielder Chris Lines who has picked up the bug and looks set to miss out tonight.

If Lines does miss out Lewis Haldane well return to the starting line up. ‘Chris Lines is struggling a bit with illness to be honest,’ Paul told bristolrovers.co.uk, ‘Richard Walker is the same, as he was on Saturday, and David Pipe is also still suffering, although he’s on his way back.

‘David was back in training today but we’ll have to see how he is physically in the morning, but it may be a game too soon for him.

‘Chris Carruthers has an ankle injury, and there are a few others with sore throats and the shivers that come with the ‘flu going around.

‘There are a few bits and pieces that we’ll have to assess, and it’s important that with illness in the camp we don’t let it take hold of us. We’re taking steps to make sure it doesn’t go through the camp, but it might be that there are one or two changes for tomorrow night.’
