Bristol Rovers got back to winning ways beating struggling Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 at The Memorial Stadium.

Paul Buckle made two changes to the side that were beat 3-0 by Port Vale in midweek. Mustapha Carayol and Joe Anyinsah were both called back in to the starting line up in place of loanee’s Scott Rendell and Oliver Norburn. Rovers had several chances in the first half to take the lead, but could not beat the Daggers keeper.

Rovers did take the lead 5 minutes in to the second half, Joe Anyinsah volleyed home after Scott McGliesh shot was blocked. Rovers nearly made it 2-0 when Matt Harrold headed Craig Stanleys cross on to the post. Harrold did get his goal when he slotted home from the spot on 90 minutes after Abu Ogogo fouled the striker in the box.

Rovers are now 15th in League Two and next face Accrington Stanley away on November 5th.
