Bristol Rovers will entertain Paul Trollopes Cardiff City in the First Round of the League Cup.
Former Rovers player and manager Trollope will bring his Cardiff side across to The Memorial Stadium week commencing 8th August.
Round One of the re-named cup competition includes 70 of the 72 EFL clubs this season, with the draw being seeded as well as regionalised on a north/south basis. Seedings were based on club finishing positions in the league last season.
