Bristol Rovers moved upto 9th in the League One table after Saturdays 3-2 over Colchester United at The Memorial Stadium.

Mikkel Andersen, Danny Coles, Chris Lines and Jo Kuffour all came back into the starting line up. Dominic Blizzard hit home a 25 yard drive to put Rovers 1-0 up, it was Dominic’s first goal in a Rovers shirt since his move from Stockport County in the summer. The lead lasted just 5 minutes, John-Joe O’Toole deflected a Paul Ifil shot past Andersen in the Rovers goal.

Jo Kuffour got his name on the score sheet forcing home the ball on 67 minutes. Kuffour then turned provider playing in Chris Lines to score his 9th goal of the season. Kayode Odejayi did pull a goal back for Colchester to make it 3-2.

Rovers move back upto 9th after Saturdays win, but are 13 points outside the play offs with one game in hand.
