Paul Trollope hopes his players come off the pitch this evening with no regrets.

Rovers go into today`s F.A cup quarter final as clear underdogs against the Championship side but Trollope insists his side have what it takes to cause another upset.

‘West Brom are a good side, and a good attacking side,’ Paul told bristolrovers.co.uk, ‘They’ve got players who can create and score goals, they’ve got some very good individuals, but it’s important that we don’t fear them.

‘It’s a very big test for us, and we need to try to impose our own game. We’re here on merit, it’s not by some amazing feat that we’re in the quarter-finals, we’ve gone into every tie believing we could win and come through and we have done, and we need to have the same approach this weekend.

‘The face we’ve beaten Fulham and Southampton so far shows what we’re capable of. If we focus and produce what we’re capable of then we know we’re not a bad side, and with a full house behind us it should be a great atmosphere.

‘It should be just about under lights with the evening kick-off, and hopefully that will make the occasion extra special. We know our fans are passionate and in a game like this we really need them to be the 12th man, which they have been to us so often.

‘When you’re down in a game or pressing for a goal they can really get you going, and they will be important for us.

‘For everyone connected with the club, fans and players, opportunities like this don’t come around very often, but it’s important we don’t think about that. You have to be calm and approach the match like any other in order to produce the performance we know we’re capable of.

‘We know it’s important, but we want to play our game, and the main thing is that we don’t come off the pitch tomorrow evening with any regrets. It’s a game that captures the imagination, but we need to perform if we’re to stand any chance.’

The winners of today`s tie are guaranteed a trip to Wembley. Rovers have already beaten Premiership side Fulham and Championship side Southampton in this years F.A cup.
