Bristol Rovers first team coach Paul Trollope declared himself pleased with the win over Northampton Town.
Rovers recorded their first win in eleven games last night with a 1-0 win, thanks to Rickie Lamberts 70th minute header.

“I thought rovers played a very good game on tuesday” | ||
‘We were pleased with the application and attitude of the players in the game and in training after what happened last week,’ Trollope said to the Evening Post
‘This group responds well to setbacks and the performance was a lot better than against Bournemouth.
‘There was more movement, we passed the ball better and we deserved to win.’
It was also Rovers first clean sheet in six games and only their second of the season.
Its great we won but hope the elation from this win doesn’t paper over the cracks.
Lets build on this win now.
