1) Why and when did you become a Gashead?
My dad took me to Eastville from time to time. I can’t remember exactly what my first game was, but it would have been in the late 70’s. I’ve never been one for following the crowd and always cheer on an underdog, so Rovers are perfect for me.

2) What is your best memory being a Rovers fan?
Sammy Igoes goal at Wembley. A great occasion at a new Wembley. I can’t remember seeing a goal take so long to be scored, which made the celebration even better.

3) If you could bring back one Rovers player at his best, who would it be?
Geoff Bradford. I’d love to have seen him play and feel jealous of people who have seen him.

4) How do you think John Ward did last season?
Fantastically, he has galvanised the whole club, not just the team.

5) Best and worst moments of last season?
The best moment was probably the Barnet game. The disappointment of seeing Barnet equalise on the 90th minute was all forgotten when Brunt then went and scored us a winner in injury time. I think this was made all the sweeter as the Barnet fans perhaps over-celebrated their equaliser.
I don’t really have a specific worst moment, but must admit i was really starting to panic by mid December.

6) Do you think Mark McGhee was given to much time, not enough time or was it timed just right?
Obviously with hindsight it was the perfect decision. At the time i was worried a change of manager would cause more problems than it solved, but on this occasion I didn’t really think McGhee was the right man for the job and conceded he needed to go.

7) Its been said only one more player will come in (John Joe O’Toole Maybe) do you think that’s enough?
Ward has my full backing. If he thinks we have enough players, im happy.

8) Any players you would like to see leave Rovers?
I’m glad to see the back of Virgo! Im also not the biggest fan of Garry Kenneth and Im wondering if he will ever play for us again. whilst that is the case im not sure i like having him on our wage bill.

9) Favourite current Rovers player?
I have a lot of time for Lee Brown. Whenever Rovers score just look at him during the celebrations… I truly believe he has a passion for our club and for that reason i can forgive him for most things!

10) Favourite player of all time?
I dont really have an outright favourite, but as per the last question, Ive always had a soft spot for players who give 100%, so I guess Devon White and Ian Holloway would both be high on my list.

11) What our your expectations for the coming season?
The last few years have taught me not to expect anything. Of course, the majority of people might expect Rovers to continue where we left off and maybe challenge for a playoff place and I’d obviously be delighted with that, however I will be happy enough with a top half finish.

12) Your opinion on Nick Higgs and the board?
I like Nick, he has taken a lot of flak over the last few years, whilst at the same time hes been forging a deal that will hopefully see us enter the promised land. That must have been so frustrating for him, not being able to reassure people about the future during the periods people were criticising him.
It is my perception that other Board members seem somewhat aloof. You probably won’t see them at the Fun Day, they don’t do Q&A sessions, they don’t do interviews with the press. A bit of interaction would go a long way. Although, in fairness to Geoff, he does interact a bit on Twitter!

13) With the build of the UWE to start soon, what would you like to see added to the design?
I would love to see a Geoff Bradford/Alfie Biggs statue.
But as a more realistic wish, Im very hopeful there will be some kind of area to hang flags.
