Striker Richard Walker is still searching for his first goal of the new season.
Walker has finished top scorer for Rovers in his past two seasons scoring 23 last season and 21 the season before, but no goals yet this season.
The striker will be hoping that Saturday`s game against Oldham will be the day he gets off the mark.
‘I know goals will start coming soon – hopefully tomorrow will be the day,’ Walker told the Evening Post.
‘We are a team who will always create chances and hopefully I’ll get a good one-on-one and stick it away.
‘I know that once one goes in they will start flowing and the fact I’ve not scored yet doesn’t really bother me.
‘If I’d gone six or seven games without a goal then maybe it would start playing on my mind, but not at the moment. The pre-season goals helped and I’ve felt like I was going to score in every game, although it’s not happened for me yet. But the confidence is there.’
Strike partner Rickie Lambert has also felled to score so far this season.
