Ward Keen On Brunt And Harrold.

Striker Ryan Brunt is set to return to action on Friday night in Rovers League Two clash against Southend United.

Brunt has been out for two weeks due to injury but is set to return and partner Matt Harrold in attack something Manager John Ward is keen on. ‘I’d like to see that partnership happen because they are both good players and we already know they can score goals.
‘I’ve looked at the stats for the first ten games and we are generally in good shape other than the amount of goals we have scored. said Ward to TIB.

‘We’ve scored nine goals and our opponents have scored 15, so to have someone like Ryan back is going to be important at a time when we are trying to level that particular statistic up.

Friday will be the first chance Ward has had to pair the strikers together as both have suffered with injuries since the start of the season.
