Ward Moves Up Stairs As Clarke Takes Charge

John Ward is no longer Manager of Bristol Rovers instead he is now Director Of Football.

The move has paved way for Assistant Manager to take full control of first team affairs for the rest of the season. the move is hoped to breathe new life in to Rovers as they bid to end a run of four games with out a win. Clarke does have experience as Manager when he was in charge of Salisbury Town, he won two promotions in three season in the non league side.

The plan to move Ward up stairs and for Clarke to take charge has been in place for a while, but was not meant to happen until next season, but with Rovers struggling at the wrong end of the table once again Rovers are hoping a change will help keep Rovers in the Football League
