The former Torquay United wide man has signed a short term contract with Rovers.
The 23 year old who has been on trial with Rovers since the start of pre season agreed a three month contract to try and prove his fitness to Clarke. He suffered injury last season which meant he only played a handful of games for Northampton Town.
He has played most of his career at Torquay United where he made over 70 appearances and scored six times. He has also had spells at Swindon Town and Crewe.
Bodin becomes Darrell Clarke`s fourth summer addition following the arrivals of James Clarke, Chris Lines and Cristian Montano.
