Paul Buckle has been handed the job of trying to get Luton back in to the Football League.

Buckle has been handed a two and a half year deal with the Conference Premier side. The 41 year old was placed on gardening leave by Bristol Rovers after a poor run of results and the majority of fans had turned against him. Under Buckle Rovers only won 6 out of their first 23 games and was relieved of his duties in January and replaced by Mark McGhee.

Luton are sixth in The Conference just outside the play offs, three points behind Southport. Luton do have two games in hand on must teams around them.
