Rovers recently made the decision to start charging for disabled parking spaces at the Memorial Ground, as part of this, 9yr old Jake Barber who suffers from Cerebral Palsy would have to pay an extra £50, whilst this is not financially a huge amount for the club to receive it is a lot of money to the Barber family who as part of their normal life face increasing costs for everything.
Young Jake loves watching the gas and his father was very disappointed by the clubs decision to charge them for the privilege of parking at the mem, as parking anywhere else is not really an option.
Thankfully Mancgas and ElmtreeGas two very loyal fans from the Alternative forum were shocked to learn of the news and have very kindly offered to pay for Young Jake Barber`s £50 parking fee enforced by the club.
Mancgas`s reaction
“I feel strong enough about this to pay the families £50 myself and will be contacting BRFC tomorrow to do so”
ElmtreeGas quickly replied
“Still a terrific gesture for you to make, and because of your kindness I would like to offer £25 towards this, This club has a lot to learn, and all I shall do now is spend £25 less on merchandise this year (To the penny!!!)”
Two fantastic fans there, showing care and generosity to a very deserving family

Superb, just shows the fans ARE the lifeblood of our clubs, something the clubs VERY often forget.
Well done guys, not often you see such selfless generosity. I’ve heard all the spaces are gone now though, so it looks like little Jake won’t get to see the games afterall, shocking display from the club, they should give up their space for this poor family.
I hope the club hang their heads in shame. Great gesture by the fans who show what its all about when following the club you love.
