Former Bristol Rovers striker Barry Hayles has joined League One rivals Cheltenham Town on a one month loan deal.
Barry Hayles made 79 appearances for Rovers between 97-98 and scored 38 times for the Gas.
Hayles moved from Rovers to Fulham in 1998 for £2,000,000 and has also had spells at Sheffield Utd, Millwall, Plymouth and Leicester City. There has been speculation that Hayles was on his way back to Rovers in recent weeks.

Dam i was hoping he was coming back to us!!
They couldn’t fit his zimmerframe through the turn styles…
greatmove he will score loads of goals
as long as he dont score against us.
they are making some very good signings of late and they said us not going there this season would seriously affect their finances… hmm
I hope Cheltenham stay up this year, and with this man in their squad, this just may happen.
Blimey, didn’t realise he was still playing.
