Holloway Confirmed For Sportsman’s Evening

Former Bristol Rovers favourite Ian Holloway has been confirmed as the after dinner speaker for a Sportsman’s Evening to be held at Mangotsfield United’s Cossham Street on Thursday 25th September.

Holloway, now forty five, made a total of 647 appearances in a professional career which started at Bristol Rovers and spanned eighteen years and five clubs. In a similar vein to his playing career Holloway cut his managerial teeth at Bristol Rovers before going onto manage at Queens Park Rangers, Plymouth Argyle and more recently Leicester City.

‘Olly’ is now almost as famous for his after match interviews where his often amusing ‘Ollyisms’ have been featured on Sky Sports Soccer AM football show.
