Striker Rickie Lambert says he takes nothing for granted and don`t expect to start every week.
Lambert got back amongst the goals last night after a quiet spell in front of goal, scoring two in the 3-2 win over Cheltenham Town. How ever Rickie says he doesn`t expect to start just because he has scored a few goals.
‘Just because I’ve scored a few goals doesn’t mean I should be playing every week,’ Lambert said to the official ‘Darryl Duffy and Joe Kuffour have been scoring of late, so nothing is taken for granted.
‘But to score the late winner against Cheltenham was absolutely brilliant, and it was a great feeling running away to the crowd afterwards.
‘I was made up that it happened that way, and I’ve also been really pleased for Darryl and Jo as well.
‘That’s 20 for season now, so hopefully I can get on another run now and score a few more and see how many that gets me.’
Lambert’s brace was his first goals for Rovers since early December.
