Bristol Rovers first team coach Paul Trollope insists striker Rickie Lambert is staying at The Memorial Stadium.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Rovers leading score in recent weeks, but Trollope say Rickie is going nowhere. ‘We’ve had no enquiries,’ said Trollope. ‘The lad’s happy here and he’s the focal point of our side. He’s not going anywhere.’
Lambert is Rovers leading scorer with 20 goals so far this season. The Liverpool born striker has been linked with moves to Huddersfield and Sheffield United since the transfer window opened.
