Leeds secured their sixth League One win in a row and finally registers some points.

The game did not get off to a very good start for Rovers going a goal behind after just 9 minutes. Jermaine Beckford volleyed home from close range to put the visitors one up.

Rovers pilled the pressure on Leeds and looked like it was only a matter of time before Rovers levelled. Rovers forced a number of corners but were not able to capitalize on their pressure. Rovers also felt badly done by when they were denied a free-kick when Leeds keeper Casper Ankergren looked to have handled a lofted pass back from Jamie Clapham.

The second half was much of the same with Rovers controlling the game but with out scoring. With 77 minutes gone Leeds doubled their lead against the run of play, Tresor Kandol converted David Prutton’s cross.

With just seconds left Beckford added his second and Leeds third with a impressive over head kick. The final score line was very harsh on Rovers.
