McGhee Hoping Players Will Be Back For Morecambe

Mark McGhee has said that we could see a few players return for the clash with Morecambe on Saturday.

With Saturdays clash against Aldershot called off it has given the injured players extra time to get fit whilst not missing any more games. Speaking to the official McGhee said a few may return. ‘There are one or two that we think wont be back and others we hope will be. Gary Sawyer probably wont be, Danny Woodards might, and Matt Harrold, Joe Anyinsah and Muzzy Carayol probably will be.

‘It strengthens the attacking options, and it strengthens the bench, and we have Matthew Lund to come in as well. We are ahead in terms of the numbers available and the squad I can chose from.

‘With the injury to Aaron Downes we have to consider cover there as the only two fit centre halves we have are Byron and Cian.’

Striker Matt Harrold who has been missing due to injury since the start of January was expected to take a place on the bench against Aldershot before it was called off.
