Bristol Rovers have reportedly opened talks with Notts County over player David Pipe.
Pipe is a utility player who can play at Right back,Right midfield and in the the centre of midfield. He has one year remaining on his current contract.
Wycombe Wanderers tried to sign pipe last season and had a £100,000 bid accepted. Pipe has played for Wales at under 21 level twelve times and also has one senior Welsh cap to his name.
Is this a sign that Lescott might be leaving Rovers? There has been reported interest from Notts Forest, Barnsley and Port Vale for Lescott who is currently out of contract. Rovers have offered Lescott a new one year deal, but as of yet he yet to sign.
