Northampton And Carlisle Keen On Anthony

Northampton Town and Carlisle United are two of several clubs that are keen to sign central defender Byron Anthony.

The 27 year old is out of contract with Rovers this summer and is expected to be told he has no future at the club. Anthony spent the end of the season on loan at League Two side Hereford United who are also keen to sign Anthony, but he does not want to drop in to non-league as Hereford got relegated. Whilst at Hereford he made 15 appearances and scored once.

Anthony signed from Cardiff in the summer of 2006 and went on to make over 180 appearances and scored 10 goals.
