Bristol Rovers have today revealed the sponsors for next seasons kit.
For the past ten years, Rovers have held a raffle for various different types of sponsorship, but commercial director Tom Gorridge opted for a different approach this season. The front of shirt sponsorship has gone to Football INDEX, whilst the back of shirt sponsorship has gone to MintBet.
Football INDEX are the world’s first football stockmarket where traders can buy and sell shares in professional footballers, meaning fans are able to bet on the future successes of players – rather than just gambling on short-term results. The platform operates as a stock market, with traders buying units of footballers to build their portfolios and make a profit.
It was also announced the Bristol-based Insurance Brokers Brunel Group will continue their sponsorship of the South Stand for a further three seasons. Part of the sponsorship agreement will mean Rovers will be installing a big screen at The Memorial Stadium for the coming season. Gasheads will eagerly be waiting to see how the sponsorship on the new kits which will be on show for the first time on Sundays Open Day.
