Bristol Rovers conceded a last minute strike against Exeter City which meant Rovers had to settle for a point on their travels.

Darrell Clarke handed a debut to new loan sign Rory Gaffney who put in a decent shift up front a long side leading scorer Matty Taylor. Rovers were the better team in the first half and were unlucky not to take the lead, Exeter keeper Bobby Olejnik pulled off good saves from Stuart Sinclair and Rory Gaffney. Gaffney also saw his powerful header fly just over the crossbar.

The second half was much of the same with Rovers on top, Olli Clarke had a shot pushed over the bar and at the other end Nicholls was on hand to parry away Ryan Harleys shot. On 83 minutes Rovers took the lead through Stuart Sinclair who beat Olejnik from 25 yards out. It looked as if Rovers were going to bring home all three points but deep into injury time Jamie Reid volleyed home.

Rovers are 12th after the draw and next face Wycombe at home on Tuesday night.
