Bristol Rovers have been dealt another injury blow on the eve of the new League Two season.

Winger Alfie Santos who was expected to be part of the first team squad has been ruled out for up to six weeks after breaking his thumb. The latest injury leaves John ward short on options on the flanks. Its expected Rovers will start with Harrison on the left with Eliot Richard on the right leaving just Shaquille Hunter as another option.

The latest injury means Rovers go into the new season with nine players out injured.
