Bristol Rovers Manager John Ward may bring in a loan signing before Saturdays League Two trip to Burton.

Ward is missing Alefe Santos, Seanan Clucas who returned from International duty with a knock, Ryan Brunt has a knee injury and may miss Saturdays game. Striker Matt Harrold is still working his way back from injury and Ward is being careful with the former Wycombe Wanderers man.

‘I have to look at some of the others and that is why I didn’t start Matt Harrold because I am trying to protect him.
‘Alefe will also be out for a little while with a bit of a hamstring strain.

‘I hate to put a timescale on these injuries because I’ll say two weeks and then it will turn into four and everybody thinks I don’t know what I am talking about.

‘We do get Will Packwood back ahead of the game at Burton to help us out and, while Seanan Clucas also come back from international duty, he returns carrying a bit of an injury sustained in the time he has been away.’
Said Ward to TIB.

Rovers did have Manchester City wide man Alex Henshall on loan, but after just one start and one sub appearance the 19 year old has returned to his parent club.
