Bristol Rovers were hoping to bounce back after Wednesdays defeat to local rivals Bristol City when they travelled to Home Park to take on Plymouth Argyle.

John Ward brought in striker Ryan Brunt in place of Matt Harrold who took a place on the bench, it was Ryan Brunt who had Rovers best chance in the first half but his low shot was deflected wide. After the break Dave Clarkson saw his shot tipped round the post by goalkeeper Luke McCormick.

In a game of few chances it looked as if Rovers was going to come away with a point but with just 8 minutes on loan striker Reuben Reid headed home from close range.

Rovers dropped to 16th in League Two and next face a trip away to Dagenham & Redbridge next Saturday.
