Nigel Martyn who made just over 100 appearances for Rovers has been voted the Greatest Gas Goalkeeper of all time.
It was no real surprise that Martyn got over half the votes (51%), but is was close for second place who won a place on the bench. Jim Eadie(11%), Brian Parkin (10%) and Steve Phillips (8%)were all in contention to take the place on the bench, but it was Dick Sheppard who made the bench in the end with (12%). Sheppard made 151 appearances for Rovers between 1969-1975.
