Rovers dropped more points at home, this time to Stockport County. Rovers started the game well and were creating better chances, Agogo and walker both having efforts at goal. It was at 36 minutes when the action started, Rovers went ahead after good work from a corner by Stuart Campbell and Jamie Forrester. Steve Elliott nodded a cross back towards the goal for Richard Walker to score from six yards out.

Rovers went into half time deservedly 1-0, but five minutes in it was 2-0. Ashley Williams handled the ball in the area and Richard Walker cooly stepped up to score his second of the game.

Stockport Manager Jim Gannon rang the changes and the trio of substitutes started to change the game. Daryl Smylie’s brilliant pass picked out Adam Le Fondre who slotted the ball past the advancing Shearer.

Rovers were starting to look nervous as Stockport continued to press forward. Shearer tipped a Boshell strike over the bar and then a low drive from Singh around the post. Agogo made a great run into the box and fired a shot in, only to see the ball blocked on the line by the hand of Mark Hughes. Amazingly both the linesman and the referee claimed not to have seen it?

Stockport equalized in the 88th minute, Le Fondre threw himself at the ball and it seemed to strike his arm, but again the Referee claimed not to have witnessed it.

Rovers will be disappointed to have dropped more points, but are still in with a chance of making the play off’s. The draw will see Rovers move into ninth position but the gap between the play off places is increasing.

Well, Well, Well. After watching the replay’s guys I have to say that Le Fondre’s goal wasn’t handball! However Mark Hughes is a great goalkeeper. I hear Everton are having some trouble with keepers, maybe they should recall him!!!?!

Good luck for the rest of the season!
