This weeks away fans guide is Brighton, Vital Gas caught up with Brighton editor Ben.

Which pubs would you recommend to our fans to use during our visit to you?
Unfortunately there isn’t many pubs at all around the ground and the best one for you to go to would be the Sportsman which is right next to the
ground. Usually they let in away fans so it shouuldn’t be a problem.

Which pubs would you suggest we avoid for the duration of our visit?
None really to avoid as there isn’t that many to go to i’m afraid.

What food do you serve at your ground? What is it like?
The usual food you would expect to get. The prices are quite steep but
the quality isn’t too bad. No alcohol is served inside the stadium either.

What is your ground like?
Terrible but there is nothing we can really do about it until we finally
get permission to be a permanent home for ourselves. My advice to all away fans visiting would be to bring some wet weather gear and some binoculars. You’ll see what I mean when you get there!

Is the ground easy to find?
It is fairly straightforward to find and it is one of the first turnings off as you enter the city.

Any suggestions of where the away fans can park?
If you arrive early enough you may be able to find a space in the stadium car park. But my advice to you would be to seriously consider travelling by coach or minibus as you are unable to park easily around Withdean.

What are the admission prices for away fans?
At a guess I would say around £25 for adults and £15 for U16’s.

How do you think you will fair this season?
Our management believe we can challenge for the play-offs and I would agree as long as we prepare well and maybe add one or two more quality players to the side. However if you look at some of the odds we have to be relegated by the bookies, I think a lot of people are judging us on our performances last year which were below par. So we could surprise a few people next season…

How well do you think Bristol Rovers will do this season?
I’m not really familiar with many of your players or your style of play but I cant see you being one of the relegation contenders. I would say around mid-table which wouldn’t be a bad first season back.

Who do you think are your key players this season?
There are a few to watch out for. We have signed two very decent players in Andrew Whing and Nicky Forster who could prove to be brilliant signings – we know what Whing is capable of as he was on loan with us last year and did very well. Another to watch out for is Joel Lynch who is attracting the interest of a number of top level sides. He is a very talented defender and won a lot of praise for his performances last year at just 19.

Finally Who do you think will win the league?
I’m going for either Nottingham Forest or Luton Town. Both have very
decent League One sides. I think my outside bet for promotion would be Millwall.

Many thanks Ben
