The 2007 Bristol Fans Derby is to be played at the Memorial Stadium on the evening of Thursday 10th May (KO 19:30), with the Jessie May Trust this year’s benefactor.

Every year, teams made up of fans from Bristol Rovers and Bristol City play a match for charity. Both clubs wholeheartedly support the BFD and each takes turns hosting the match.
This year we are the guests of Bristol Rovers Football Club and the game will be played on Thursday 10th May 2007 at the Memorial Stadium, Bristol. Kick 0ff 7-30pm.
Full matchday facilities will be available to players and supporters.
The money raised will go towards providing respite care for the families of children with a terminal illness.
The 2007 BFD aims to raise a sum of £10,000 which will provide all the support required by one family for a whole year.
This can only be achieved with the help of our supporters. The need for this assistance is urgent because the Jessie May Trust receives no statutory funding, relying solely on voluntary contributions to fund their activities. The trust also estimates that there are at least 25 additional local families with terminally ill children that they cannot currently assist.
