Aaron Lescott was sent off, as ten man Rovers held out for a point at Underhill.

Rovers dominated most of the first half and it was Richard Walker who deservedly put Roves one up 12 minutes in. Catain Stuart Campbell whipped in a free kick and there was top scorer Walker to head in his 18th goal of the season. Rovers could have had three by half time, with Lewis Haldane dragging wide and Craig Disley shooting straight at the keeper after being put clean through.

Steve Phillips was once again showing what a great signing he has been producing a great save from Liam Hatch. But on the stroke of half time Puncheon’s 25-yard free-kick drew Barnet level.

The seond half started badly for the Gas, Aaron Lescott saw red for the second time this season, again the decsion seemed very harsh. Paul Trollope reacted to the sending off by replacing Lewis Haldane for Byron Anthony. I found it a strange change as Lewis was causing problems with his pace.

But Rovers held out for a point, taking the circumstances it was not a bad point and kept Rovers Play off hopes a live.
